Bias, prejudice and discriminatory with abuse of discretion. The case was clearly proven with the defendants stated they do not have any defense for the allegation but the judge allowed continuation of their extensions. Later blame us to be wasting court time and burden with unnecessary delays to dismiss the complaint. The judge already knew the case is a solid proven but without lawyer and relationship, the judge abused the power and continued to make ruling in favor of the lawyer he has good relations.

He is bad, but there are numerous judges who are even worse. Very hypocritical, cunning, treacherous, cynical and lawless. Believes in power of money - justice you get entirely depends on money that you have. He heavily protects the interests of the big corporations and the government, to the point of committing the overt illegal acts. At the same time, he gives the less powerful party some chance to settle the case at the amount far less that could be deemed just. But if there is no settlement, he will immediately switches heavily towards the more powerful side.

Bias in disguise. If you are not a big shot lawyer or someone influence, the treatment will be different. There will be no equal justice if you are pro-per plaintiff. The whole court will team up to screw you and protect their own circle.

This judge has good and bad attitudes. It is according to whether or not he likes you. I have been practicing law for over 25 years and he wasn't involved in my civil litigation getting settled. In fact, he was the problem. I did not give him high marks because I believe that I could have settled my sooner with another judge.

I have observed Judge Seeborg handling complex legal issues on a First Amendment issue and his insights, questions, and demeanor all spoke of a highly effective and qualified judge.

Thorough in reviewing Motions for Summary Judgment. Takes the time to understand the issues and the law. Very good at picking up the nuances in arguments presented.

I am always pleased when my cases are assigned to Judge Seeborg. I can count on him to be learned, conscientious, well-prepared, even-tempered and unbiased. I do not understand why it is taking so long for him to be elevated. He will be a wonderful asset to the Northern District bench.

How on earth has this magistrate judge not been elevated yet? He is a far better judge than most of the federal judges sitting on the Northern District bench. His opinions are issued immediately with no delay, he reads through them, thoroughly researches issues, and is just all around a fantastic judge who treats people with unfailing courtesy.

One of the smartest judges on the federal bench. Loves complex matters. It is a real pleasure to be before him. He prepares for hearings, and you never have the sense that you have lost something because he didn't or couldn't understand it or didn't bother to consider it. Very fair, does not show bias to either side, very timely. Outstanding demeanor. One of the very best judges to appear before. He does tend to make up his mind before a hearing, and although he will allow argument, I've never seen him change his mind from his tentative decision. He also will do his own research and not just rely on the papers submitted by counsel. Very well-written decisions. He does not like it when attorneys include personal comments or attacks in their papers or fail to meet and confer, which also keeps things very professional. If only all judges were like this.

Works very hard to understand highly complex technical matters. Very impressive level of comprehension in such matters, especially considering the Judge has no technical background. Slimy attorneys tend to take advantage of, and benefit from, the Judge's good nature.
