Judge Broadbelt is the most kind, patient, and understanding judge I have ever appeared in front of.

I do not know how anyone thinks this judge keeps cases from going to trial.

I do not know how anyone thinks this judge keeps cases from going to trial. A nonsense case by a vexatious litigant he has failed to grants motions to dismiss that are warranted and documented, and is bending over backwards for a lunatic pro per litigant WITHOUT A CASE. Costing defendants hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Judge Broadbelt is one of the best judges I have ever appeared before. I had a long trial in front of him and he was extremely fair. Excellent judicial temperament. He is very intelligent. A great judge for both sides.

I am constantly astounded by the poor quality of LASC judges, and this guy is no different.

I am constantly astounded by the poor quality of LASC judges, and this guy is no different. How can a contract signed by an alleged employee of one company obligate an entirely different company to that contract? It is basic contract law that a party has to show some intent to be bound by that contract to bind them to the contract - but Broadbelt apparently skipped that day.
