Robert C. Naftz

I've seen Judge Naftz make too many bad evidentiary and procedural decisions to trust him to get things right. I have had him question my ability to get certain documents into evidence while in open court, in front of a jury before any attempt to lay foundation was made. I have seen him admit full blown ballistic forensics as lay-witness testimony in trial. He has given advice to the state's prosecutors about how to get certain testimony into evidence whilst in the middle of trial, with the witness and jury still seated. Against a criminal defense attorney, he will use deadlines to deny the opportunity to file motions to suppress while simultaneously hand waving away the State's failure to meet their deadlines and obligations. He is bar none my least favorite judge to have hear pre-trial motions. I just don't trust my client will get a fair shot. Other judges I may disagree with, but at least I will believe that they considered the issue.

Judge Naftz is extremely lazy, biased and runs a unjust court. Idahoans watch out. He will violate a citizen's civil rights by the application of silly court rules, which should be applied to allow parties to be heard and receive a fair hearing over litigious matters. If it means work he finds ways to apply rules to deny one's rights. VOTE HIM OUT!

Judge Naftz [Redacted by Ed.] Uses court rules to deny access to be heard. He also knew I was not formally served through ICourt,violating my 5th and admendment rights to a fair hearing and still ordered a default judgment against me removing me as trustee. Judge Naftz is lazy and is not interesting performing the work of a Judge. He should be removed from the bench. When I walked into the court room it was evident he was biased and against me. One should be made to feel the Judge is a neutral party. Beware Pocatello, Sixth dDistrict Judge Naftz must go! I suggest voting him out come next elections.
