Judge Shelby does not always come down my way, but he always explains his decisions with enough clarity and attention to the law that even where we disagree the issue is well-framed for appellate review. I took off a few points for "punctuality" but then again, one imagines the attention to detail takes time. Could not ask for a better judge.
