Judge travers granted a restraining order on me because in custody case, the opposing party said I almost blew up the power plant in another state, 1000 miles away. This is stupidly at its finest.

He should have been disbarred years ago.

He should have been disbarred years ago. He does absolutely no fact checking and relies on favoritism to decide his rulings. It was in the document that he said my daughter will go to her father because I have diabetes, some sort of mental disorder of some kind, and dad had more money. He then denied saying any of it. He made his rulings based on no fact checking, money, and my type one diabetes. It’s discrimination. He also wanted to use me as an example for father’s rights. I’wrote a ten page complaint to Illinois councel and they did nothing. If Illinois wasn’t so corrupt, then this judge would be gone way before his retirement. In fact, I should be able to sue the state for the amount of problems this judge caused for being biased. We transferred our case to Pennsylvania because it wasn’t a fair trial, Pennsylvania holds their judges accountable, so far my mom and I have spent around $80,000 trying to get the father to cooperate. We are still in court after 7 years.

Very bias. Makes his own judgment on his own personal opinion.

Very bias. Makes his own judgment on his own personal opinion. Not on facts! Currently in a situation where I live in conjoined apartments. Have had multiple issues with neighbor to were cops were involved. Said neighbor went to the extreme as to taking matters into his own hands and damaging personal property of mine. Neighbor was granted an OP against myself for 21 days. Went to court. Neighbor admitted to being unstable. So unstable to the point his children are in DCFS because he is under investigation for child abuse and neglect. But because he has no criminal record which I don’t as well but my husband does due to making bad decisions as a very young adult. He granted this man a permanent OP. Was very unprofessional. Made a few comments about my husband’s criminal record which was irrelevant to the case. My husband hasn't been in trouble in almost 10 years. Everyone makes mistakes in life. Im sure he has too. But since he is a judge he is supposedly untouchable. Lets get this man removed. Very incompetent. We need someone who is gonna do there job by the book and not by his personal opinion.

Judge Travers rulings are often very biased.

Judge Travers rulings are often very biased. Personal opinions have no place in the court; facts do, but he seems to prefer his personal opinions over them. His rulings are riddled with errors and create much confusion. Trying to get clarification on them opens an entire new can of worms, not to mention the amount of time and money his incompetency costs those unlucky enough to go before him. He was supposed to retire a couple years back but didn't. He really needs to so a more competent judge can take his place. Good luck if you get him as a judge on your case. Be ready to appeal.
