Rodrick Coffey

This man is a disgrace to the bench and a threat to good parents . Completely ignored mountains of evidence, case history, prior findings. Absolute carelessness that will permanently alter my daughter’s life.

Rodrick Coffey needs to be put on notice under 18 USC 241 and 242 for the [redacted] he is committing on families.

Family Court: hates women and children. does not protect children from abusive men. sides with abusers. hides evidence. deletes court proceedings to protect his own unfair and illegal rulings from appeals. graduated from an Christian university -clearly is not practicing his faith/religion.

Judge Coffey is one of the most fair and patient judges I have appeared before. He has been assigned to a few of my civil cases and I have been very happy with him. Every ruling has not gone my way but all of them have been well reasoned and fairly decided. He is always prepared for hearings and listens to both sides before making his rulings.

I am amazed that the courts, in this case Judge Coffey, seem to ignore even their own orders. My daughter had to go back to court to ask the court to award her her own property that she had even before she was married. Sentimental things that her ex decided to keep. It was placed in a storage unit that she ended up paying for after making arrangements to pick it up before the sale of their house. She lives out of state. When she arrived to pick up her belongings, most of them were not there. There were empty DVD cases, literal garbage, empty boxes, torn and stained matrasses, much of what was not hers. She was informed that her ex had been to the unit just before signing it over to her and was seen removing items from it and placing them in another unit. He ex has not paid for the unit and so a few days ago the unit went up for auction with her belongings in it. She knows because of the pictures on the site. I have found that the courts in AZ really don't give a damn about the people who come through their system, especially women. Christmas ornaments for her boys from their great aunt are gone, music boxes form her grandparents are gone and all because the courts don't follow through. It's a joke.

Failed to read anything presented to him, gave away sole and separate personal property clearly against the law, gave children to a man who on the stand stated that he'd tried to commit suicide in the past and explained how he would do it ON THE STAND. Has endangered the children with taking them away from their mother who was a stay at home mom and took care of them day in and day out from the day they were born and gave them to a man who couldn't even remember simple things like what dentist they went to when he went to the same dentist, and who had no idea how to even register them for school or take care of them day in and day out!! The man couldn't even figure out how to use the clothes washer!! Children are failing in school, self harming, and he has alienated them from their mother by lying nonstop about her and this judge did nothing about it with the mountains of evidence presented proving all of this. This judge wouldn't even grant mother her name change that she requested on page ONE of her response! Allowed for clear lies to pass as truth in court (statements that mother filed for divorce when clearly she was listed as the respondent) and gave everything to father that they had ever jointly owned. 50/50 state? Not with this judge. He listened to my ex say that he was selling off our joint property and some of my personal property and didn't care!! Less than a month after giving my ex custody, he got my kids into a major car accident that flipped the vehicle at a 4 way stop. Ironically he's stated before that he's thought about killing himself in a traffic accident, but did this judge care about the endangerment? Of course not!! I've heard about him giving custody to fathers who have kidnapped and killed their children. This judge doesn't deserve to be on the bench [redacted by Ed.]

This judge should be disrobed. There is nothing honorable about taking children away from their mothers, good mothers, to give them to proven and charged abusive fathers. My children are safe now, but I will never forgive this judge for the choices he made to ignore evidence and side with someone because he knew their family from church. My children will never forget those bearings and chokings and having their hair pulled by their father. He has to live with that, and he does it all the time to families in Mesa.

The worst Judge doesn't care about the children involved. Gave joint custody to my ex husband that has a domestic violence felony. Didn't look at any of the evidence. He makes money helping addicts and sending then to state funded rehabs What a joke

My case was predetermined from the git go and he was paid off crooked as a politician. He does not know the meaning of Integrity or equalization those words are to big for him he doesn't even show his face during hearings and trial. Street thugs have more heart than this mother hater. Paid off and exparte with opposing council but no conscience about it he has tenure and takes no responsibility or liability for his bad decisions of my precious child's life who I told to have faith that things would be okay. Well he is not okay being trafficked away from everything and everyone he has ever loved 2000 miles away by a malicious parent who did not even let him hug his mother and tell her goodbye sold him to the highest bidder your disgusting Rodrick

Where I do begin? After mountains of evidence that my now ex-son-in-law lied on the stand, manipulated evidence, disregarded his own petition requirements and the court orders from the judge, withholding evidence that had been subpoenaed, he comes out with residential custody of the boys as well as getting everything, even my daughter's personal possessions that were stated on the Family Law Interrogatory... as hers, I could tell you the page and date of the document. how is it htat in a 50/50 state, he is allowed to keep her things? I have 4 plus boxes of documents and audio recordings that include, among other things, my grandsons stating they would rather be with their mother. Coffey needs to be investigated and the court needs to train its judges on what abuse from a narcissist looks like. Emotional abuse is as devasting as physical. I have also heard that perjury is a joke in Family Court. Really? These are children's lives we are talking about, not some piece of furniture!
