Biased towards powerful corporations and the wealthy.

Biased towards powerful corporations and the wealthy. I prevailed thankfully due to judge Matsumoto's decision based on material evidence who reversed all Bulsara's orders that he made based on favoritism. Third-world type of court where those with influence exercise it successfully.

I had a matter before him when he was a Magistrate and he is, simply put, fantastik.

I had a matter before him when he was a Magistrate and he is, simply put, fantastik. Patient beyond belief, courteous, knows the law extremely and doesn't 'push' his weight around as a lot of judges are very prone to do. He has street sense that elucidates bogus behavior. He rendered a decision in my case that was/is so profound that it's being cited all over the country. I envy anyone who has him on their case.

[Redacted by Ed.] He lacks the temperament or smarts to serve as a district judge.

[Redacted by Ed.] He lacks the temperament or smarts to serve as a district judge. His rulings are often not thought through at all.

Judge Bulsara flies off the handle in the courtroom.

Judge Bulsara flies off the handle in the courtroom. Displeased by an attorney answer, he’ll slam down a book or iPad and glare and raise his voice. This is not becoming of the office he holds.

He's a pompous and arrogant person who thinks he has the right to tell lawyers how to practice.

He's a pompous and arrogant person who thinks he has the right to tell lawyers how to practice. He is into such minutiae it is hard to believe. I would make book he couldn't practice his way out of a paper bag. Those who can't practice law are the worst judges out there. Or, they go in house.

He is a fair judge but he wants you to appear in person for all cases even when there is no need to do so.

He is a fair judge but he wants you to appear in person for all cases even when there is no need to do so. I had clients travel great distances to appear before him in a civil matter for less then 30 min... Time that could have better been spent on the phone!

Fairly smart and well balanced, but has a bit of a temper.

Fairly smart and well balanced, but has a bit of a temper. Also doesn't have the strongest grasp when dealing with technological issues. Biggest improvement needed is clarity of orders. Too many complex issues are resolved on ambiguous minute entries.

Completely missed the point in a motion.

Completely missed the point in a motion. I don't know if he did it intentionally in order to justify his opinion, or if he's just incompetent. Either way, pretty awful.
