Scott O. Wright

December 1993 I Judge Wright that my public pretender told me that he did not care if I won or lost my case and that he was not representing me correctly. My trial started anyway. 19yrs later on October 22,2012 I met with Judge Wright in his Chambers and discussed my journey and how I would like to direct a re-entry program to curb recidivism. After 10yrs 8mths in the Federal Judicial System I say The Honorable Judge Scott O Wright deserves a rating of 8. I like Judge Wright, but at age 83 (or more),he never lets the Eighth Circuit law interfere with what he wants to do. That's problematic. Criminal defense lawyers are tickled when they draw Judge Wright.

Judge Wright is one of the last great individualists on the bench. He gets reversed a lot because he's willing to go out on a limb if he thinks the issue is worth it.
