I am undecided about Judge Goorvitch.

I am undecided about Judge Goorvitch. He issued a ruling against my client, which is fine, but I'm not sure his way getting there was sound. I appreciated appearing before him (2X), and he will engage in argument if you're prepared and have fair points, even if he rejects them. Has a sense of humor. What I'm decided about is whether we got a fair shake, which is all you can really ask for. He seemed to have read the briefs, but he may have management/defense leanings.

[Redacted by Ed.] - awful and incompetent, cites outdated laws, wants to hurry through cases to "get it off his desk." Should not be appointed to the court of appeals because he isn't unbiased just the opposite. Forces parties into remote hearings even if you want to appear. If you get him, paper the judge and get a new one.

I’m constantly wondering how judges like this continue to be appointed.

I’m constantly wondering how judges like this continue to be appointed. Stanley Mosk seems to be a cesspool of corruption with judges. He doesn’t follow the law, is biased against plaintiffs, solos, and minority lawyers especially women of color. The law wasn’t built for everyone to be from a large firm like his background was. Or maybe since he had to go in house for the government he has that perspective and punishes people who had a different walk. Since horrible judges have no one to report to they have free rein to do whatever they wish. He is one of them. Horrible. And a suite ding. 170.6, the DEI training is not working.

This judge is biased and prejudiced and should not be on the bench.

This judge is biased and prejudiced and should not be on the bench. Defense oriented, where he has ruled for the plaintiff to conduct deposition remotely and has been looking for opportunity to get rid of the case at all costs.

If every judge is like him, the God save us all.

If every judge is like him, the God save us all. Defense oriented, partial, biased, does not care about what the statute nor constitution. Shame on a school that he is graduated from and shame on CJP for letting his kinds to stay on bench.

This guy is nothing more than a ...well no need for name calling. his actions speak for themself. Criminal behavior, filing legal documents against a plantiff because the debtor is your associate is acode of conduct violation. practicing law from the position of a judicial officer is unlawful. Please hold them all accountable. if anyone reading this would like to properly submit cjp complaints then either contact me or visit their website. it really works, and helps.

This guy is a moron. He does not read papers. Makes idiotic rulings to push things off his desk. I don’t care what is pedigree is, the schools should demand their degrees back because he is a disgrace to their institutions.
