I have mixed opinions about Judge Kim. He handled a settlement conference for me. I don't like to say this about people, but he was a complete jerk. I've been a lawyer 30 years, and have encountered every conceivable judge. Judge Kim was about as jerky as they come. He was the single most arrogant judge that I have ever come across. He, quite literally, had zero regard for my input. I don't take it personally. I'm must reporting it to you. On the other hand, however, he was extremely successful in bringing about a settlement. So, oddly, although he was an abusive, jerk, I'd probably use him again because of how effective he was.

It’s good to see the positives about judges like Judge Kim as well as it is an eye opener to read about the bad judges. Too bad your post won’t be up for long because of the crazy person who continually post outrageous garbage about Ivanka Trump and others. Hey crazy person, nobody is reading or cares about your insane posts.! You are in serious need of professional help you whack job you. Can you please find something better to do (like parachuting without a parachute) and stop ruining this site for the sane people!! You nut you!!’

Steve Kim helped us to mediate a very, very difficult and intractable case with three parties and their counsel involved. He was thoughtful, studious, even-keeled, creative, and willing to push all sides equally towards what really was the right solution. At the end of a tough day we managed to settle this case, entirely thanks to Judge Kim's efforts.
