The world is a much better place with rosen retired. I've seen corruption and bias but nothing will come close to rosen. For him, the law didn't exist, what did exist is his own interpretation of whoever was in front of him. The general public should celebrate his retirement.

This dude has racist written all over him. While being a judge he made all of his decisions based on who he liked and his outcomes had nothing to do with the letter of the law. It's ironic that he's now running a business, considering he failed miserably with his law firm before becoming a judge. Looks like being a judge works for most of the losers like this guy. I agree with comments below. he is the reason i am being abused by the system today and for years to come, most difficult part is that I lost my children. rosen should never have been a judge. Horrible man with attitude towards immigrant fathers is to destroy a father at any cost. sadly, he seem to be enjoying the process or ruing someone's life and destroying children in the process. dishonorable, now retired rosen used to be a real estate agent and failed that. Started a law firm and failed that. This is when this historical loser ended up being a judge. Great job king county for hiring this caliber of "lost and found". Arrogant and entirely clueless about child's psychology, most importantly never cares about destroying children. If I could give him zero stars that is what he deserves! Judge Rosen certainly has not earned the title of honorable before his name. [Redacted by Ed.] As others have said he retains jurisdiction of cases that he picks and chooses his personal biases over and takes them with him even after he is rotated off the family law bench. Facts and evidence laid out before him are thrown aside and his own opinions replaced when he makes decisions. [Redacted by Ed.] The child welfare system supports keeping families together, Rosen supports pulling them apart. The trauma and impact this will cause to the child(ren) having lasting effects that historically repeat cycles of family dysfunction and violence. Rosen has no awareness on child development. He is biased towards any mother with, or with histories of, disabilities, mental illness or substance use (even if treated/in remission), lower incomes and anything else he can possibly find to see you as a lower human being. I don't know how people earn a seat as a judge, but judge rosen is a literal shitty judge if he worked any other job, he'd be fired in an instant.

Steven Rosen is extremely biased and participates in the continuation of abuse of parties through abusive litigation, turning a blind eye to stalking, physical abuse, and even child rape documented by authorities. He does not act in child’s best interest, ignores facts, and takes extreme actions that cause and perpetuate serious harm. He violates statutory law and engages in a disturbing pattern of retaining jurisdiction in many of his cases. He is not domestic violence in formed, does not follow DV laws, and is not motivated to protect the children and families coming before him in his court. His personal biases and ignorances lead him to cause harm. He feels very justified and gains a lot of satisfaction in the power he holds over children and their families. He is not informed about child development. He does not hold attorneys accountable for unethical or bad behavior. And more.

TERRIBLE AND BIAS

This judge likes to practice family law his own way. He picks and choses cases to follow. His biases towards women are very apparent and cloud his ability to see what truly is happening in a case where DV is ongoing. He does not serve this bench well in protecting children or mother's from abusive former partners. He'd do well by others to take more courses on what DV looks like after the parties have ended their formal relationship.
