Judge Stephen Mapes should not be serving on the bench in dependency (CPS) court at San Bernardino County Superior Court. His conduct consistently reflects a lack of professionalism, impartiality, and basic respect for the people who appear before him.

ALL SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DEPENDENCY COURT JUDGES NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE WAY THEY RULE. IT IS UNFAIR, CORRUPT AND OUTRIGHT ILLEGAL. The worst part is they get away with it.

This judge is horrible! He doesn't even deserve my stars. How can he say whats in the best interest of the kids and he doesn't even know these kids majority of the time doesn't even know what they look like. How does a cps social worker's name disappear from all court documents and a new social worker's name appear on all documents even though they were not our SW at that moment in time? Is this what they mean when they say CPS "cuts and pastes?" Just sayin..... They call the blood family "bio's" and they cater to the foster families even when they are doing shady stuff. (illegal) Thats ok tho cause they are RFA approved. Something very sinister is going on in this county and in these courtrooms. Whoever is investigating these allegations please hurry. we are at risk of losing our kids forever for no reason. they have put us on the "fast track" to terminating our parental rights because the foster family needs more donations to pay their mortgage!

THIS JUDGE AND THE CPS INSTITUTION NEEDS EXPOSED FOR THE CHILD TRAFFICKING RING THAT IT IS. THIS IS PATHETIC THAT THE VERY AGENCY WHO IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THE CHILDREN, IS THE AGENCY THAT IS TRAFFICKING THE CHILDREN AND COMMITTING FEDERAL AND LOCAL CRIMES ALL WHILE EVERYBODY TURNS A BLIND EYE! This "judge" is far from honorable. I don't understand how he can even hear cases when he literally can not HEAR. Everything being said is a '"huh" or "I'm sorry can you repeat that". He is very biased and unfair siding in favor of CPS who by the words of a 50-year veteran attorney "often lie" This system is disgusting and families are the ones suffering. It is getting worse because they have so much control and no checks and balances. No one wants to believe that they are corrupt but they lie and break families apart causing chaos and deviance. How they live with themselves is beyond me. Not many people are willing to go against them and fight for violations of civil liberties which may motivate them to believe that what they are doing is ok all while minimizing the damage they cause and becoming worse. Unfortunately, money is the root of all of this evil. CPS gets paid to open cases for judges to hear attorneys to litigate and CPS to monitor etc. It's very shameful and Mapes is directly in the center of all of the mess completely ignoring any evidence from parents or witnesses to CPS lies never being held accountable but his day will come.

This judge is [Redactd by Ed.] an has stolen my children from me. I am American Indian and this judge has violated all of my constitutional rights. I was targeted and tooken advantage of for not knowing what my rights are. Assigned pro bono lawyers of the juvenile court are also involved in their legal kidnapping of our children. This judge is a fraud and so is his buddy Judge Christopher Marshall! How can a juvenile dependency judge and a child support judge host adoption fundraisers with the same children they ordered to be removed from their homes? If you ask me they were removed and not returned home in order to have children to adopt out for their little campaign fundraising events. This judge was the same judge who arraigned me on a criminal DUI charge back in. 2014 in Fontana, then he set my bail at 100,000.00 dollars for my first DUI ever and he ordered my children to be removed from my care. Then judge mapes transfereed my criminal case to Rialto and opened a CFS case in San Bernardino. This judge then proceeded to be the judge in the CFS Case in 2014. He never allowed my kids to return home although I had two more children during the CFS case. I was allowed to keep custody of my two other children but not fit enought to have my older two returned how the fuck does that work. Then I moved to new mexico for a few years and when I came back to california I was trying to get help from the county and was denied and my benefits were delayed while I waited for them this judge sat in the Victorville court and was a temporary judge and issued warrants for my children to be removed from my custody because a CFS worker said I was missing and my children were too just cuz i refused to speak to her in 2019. Then this judge goes to San. Bernardino court juvenile dependency and sits as the judge in. My CFS for my children he had removed from me while we were full-time residents at a women with children recovery home. He successfully stole my four babies and he gets awa

This sorry excuse of a judge is the worst (redacted by Ed.) Narcissist who doesn't know what is going on in his courtroom half the time. He expects everyone to tell the truth, but when social workers come in with blatant lies, he dismisses them and overlooks it. It's criminal! The way his operates i(redacted) and would never hold up in any other court. He is destroying families with his egotistical biased opinions instead of based on facts. He needs to be taken off the bench. Karma will catch up to him and the social workers (redacted).

In my opinion this judge is corrupted and does not follow the law. Violates your constitutional rights and discriminates against Native American Woman. The judge should be investigated for all the illegal judgements he has entered for his own personal greed and gain. He has resources but uses them for the wrong reasons.
