A fair judge, who shows the desire and ability to improve. There is no doubt that she is already a thoughtful jurist, and that will continue to shine thorugh with time and experience. While easy to dimiss her as a nepo baby, it is belied by her hard-work and even-handedness. She deserves respect for her willingness to learn, desire to help people, work-etic and honest skepticism of dishonest police officers.

The name should sound familiar, the Quirks are one family that passes control of the various top level judiciary, clerk jobs to other family members. This woman should not be a judge, does not have the background to decide any serious criminal matter, yet here she sits as a judge in supreme court. NY City selects their judges on who they are and who they know. End of story. Rarely do the qualified sit on the bench.
