This is the worst judge I’ve ever encountered. If you’re a female please do everything to get a different judge. She does not care about your safety one bit. She completely disregarded my case and didn’t listen to anything my lawyers said. If you’re a male and like abusing women though this judge will let you off with zero consequences. She needs to be fired she has no business being a judge maybe a book keeper in the back far away from people. She’s going to get someone seriously hurt or killed.

Judge Norby - Seems highly unstable. Very reactive, very emotional. It is absolutely dangerous to have people like this on the bench overseeing people's lives. She definitely has a God complex as well clear delusion. Oregon tolerates these judges. I don't know how anyone can get justice in a court in Oregon. You're dealing with highly emotional, highly subjective judges and unprofessional legal "professional$" that seethe sheer malice out of their pores. Plus the greed and corruption is so apparent.

Judge Norby oversaw a very complicated and emotionally charged child custody case that spanned 2+ years in Clackamas County. This custody case was not for the faint of heart and included 5 different attorneys representing three adults and three children. This case at one point required the assistant attorney general to be present due to documents being used as evidence and the department of child services being involved. Judge Norby made it clear from the state of the case that her job was to protect the children and do what was best for them, regardless of what the adults believed or thought was best. At the time the case began the children were 10, 6 and 4. By the end they were 12, 8 and 6. Judge Norby navigated everything that was thrown at her by five different attorneys, a child custody evaluator and child protective services with grace and wisdom. The kids were terrified (its court, who wouldn’t be) however, Judge Norby went out of her way to make the kids feel comfortable. Including talking to them privately in chambers and when the court rules wouldn't allow for that, she proceeded to sit with the kids, at the table, away from her bench, with her judicial robe off, and color with them to discuss their feelings, thoughts and experiences. This Judge is one of a kind and special. Though the adults (none of them) were ever her focus, she respected and empathized with everyone in that courtroom every single day that court case continued. Judge Norby has an unwavering dedication to upholding justice, impartiality, and has an unmatched wisdom in her decision making. Her innate ability to listen carefully is a pillar for the Clackamas County legal system. She does her best to ensure fair and equitable outcomes for all parties involved; essentially, she is seen as someone who strives to act with integrity and fairness even in the most complex situations, while providing a sense of stability and order within the legal process. Just recently judge norby and Nathan Rudolph and lawyers from Buckley law firm, granted conservatorship and guardianship to the abuser of my mother. They used falsified allegations and testimony against me to take away her constitutional rights. She let all these witnesses purgur themselves and didn't say a word and. Neither did either attorney. When it was my time to testify I was told by not y to get to the point that nothing I said meant anything. Yet sustained any objections from either attorney. Nathan Rudolph stood there and lied to everyone in court and it was accepted. So now there draining her estate when she will more. Then likely need it due to dementia. Oh yeah didn't I mention that already my mother isn't only protected citizen, shes a veteran,. A widow, and has dementia. How does this happen in America and haw is it I get. Blamed for abuse yet they take her freedom away. The same freedom she fought for everyone to have freely. Norby ignored actual fact and evidence in lew of speculation and hearsay. Did any one object? No. The corruption in Clackamas county is unbelievable and I'm still reeling from the fact that this was the same judge from 2007 that did all those. Horrendous acts yet is still on the bench. Buckley law and Nathan Rudolph also. I have also noticed the adult abuse or child abuse theme. Seems. Like APS and CPS is partly to blame her too. If it wasn't for shoddy,. Biased, abusive treatment of them it. Wouldn't had even gone before judge. Norby. So it seems. Like from the roots to the tree top to all be rotted. I hope and pray she loses her seat soon and all accountable get the punishment they filed out 100fold. This just happened this year in May of 2024. If APS of CPS gets involved I don't care if your innocent get a out of county attorney or lawyer immediately. Or risk losing everything including your loved ones your house your freedom your sanity your belief in the justice system.

After taking the time to read what everyone has wrote in regards to this particular judge in Clackamas County I am appalled. I cannot believe that she is still sitting on a seat at Clackamas county courts and is allowed to treat people this way and not go by the letter of the law. My understanding is when someone is elected and that they are a sitting judge that they are to follow the law and be a representation of the law to people that are not judges but she obviously did not get the memo when she graduated law school. My foster daughter was in her courtroom yesterday and the judge awarded custody of my nine month old granddaughter to a person who kidnapped the my grand daughter and is not blood family. The woman who has as a child lied and repeated what others had said to her which my understanding in every hearing that I’ve ever been in is considered hearsay and is in admissible and she allowed it. My daughter presented evidence to show that she has indeed asked for her daughter numerous occasions but this judge did not look at the evidence!!! This judge took it upon herself to take advantage of a person with disabilities who did not have the money to fight this or afford an attorney! The women who “was” a family friend is a predator and knew exactly what she was doing when she offered to help my daughter! I said to my daughter all along I do not trust this person but my daughter is naïve and trusted this women who knew good and well if she kept the child away from my daughter and waited 6 months she could file for permanent guardianship! This non blood relative was awarded my foster daughters 9 month old daughter!!! Furious and disgusted!!!! I will be contacted the Oregon State Bar and reporting this Judge who is “elected” by the people and needs to loose her seat on the Clackmas County Courts!

I had to rate a 1 if i could a negative 200 because of the fact she has judged my daughters father in the past on his crimes, and later on gave him custody as he was a repetitive offender, she did not hear what i had to say at all, and i was advised from legal counsil, she cut me off, said you had your chance you didnt take it to contest, custody goes to father. she oversaw his historical criminal history and was extremely biased towards me was a very very short hearing. i said things bad would happen, a mth later he got arrested for a duii with endangering welfare of a person that person was a 11 and half month yr old that he fled with prior, due to her negligence in how she did the hearing, and lack of listening, and under code of judisical conduct, she failed my child and me, where he got cps involved again to where corruption has severely came from it, now father has kidnapped child and abducted her past 8 months, even though i was deemed fit and safe and no drugs or mental illness or safety concerns with the trial in may short few months prior. i plan to sue, and come after any judge, case worker, i am going to do a lawsuit, getting all ducks in a row, im coming.

Judge Norby needs to be REMOVED from the bench. She is the worst Judge in Oregon. She makes up rules, disregards the law. Refuses to look at evidence even if by an expert witness such as doctors. Where did she get her medical degree? She thinks she is GOD. There is place in hell for this woman.

Judge Susie L Norby was extremely biased in favor of my ex-husband in my divorce hearing. She awarded him full equity in the marital/family home and did not review or use any exhibits which included exact numbers for assets and liabilities, but she literally took his word on what the 'value' of everything was, such as his truck, his 2nd home in Alaska, his personal property in Alaska, he told her he had no guns stored in Alaska,the boat/trailer and truck were only worth $5,000 and she put the $20,000 suit money that was previously awarded to me on my assets column, against me. That was handed down to my ex-husband because he paid for his divorce attorney thru his company account, where he had ample resources to to pay for his attorney, new truck, all new veneers, two new trailers etc. Extremely dis-enfranchised by Clackamas County Court system, their lack of concern for fair and equitable, lack of investigation, Judge did not even read or look into the 16 Exhibits I had prepared and brought to the hearing, she would not even take the Exhibit from me when I approached to show her. She also allowed my ex-husbands Trust Attorney to be a Witness and explain how he always wanted to give the Alaska Property to one of daughters only, and changed title to the property 15 years ago and that he was sure I knew about it. How could I recuse her when I had no idea who she was. There needs to be a review from every citizen in Clackamas County regarding Judge Susie L Norby, I encourage everybody to please take the time to explain your case with Judge Norby, her lack of honor and regard to protocol and get her removed. This is by far not her first complaint and they have all been swept under the judicial rug.
