Tami Chavez

This so called person of a Judge is an absolute disgrace to the justice system. She tore a child from his father after providing damming evidence against the mom. This so called Judge put this child back with a mom who said she was going to kill her baby and that she never wanted this child only had him to keep the father around. She didn’t look at the NCO that was awarded by the court to the father 7 months ago. If something happens to this child Tammi Chavez and Edith Martinez will be held responsible. The mother has had CPS in her life has held a gun to her mom’s head she is a threat.

1.0 if I could rate any lower I would, judge works with the YWCA so if a lawyer against you works at the YWCA and you get Tami request a new judge. She took my son away from my after 7 months after I’ve already had a NCO against my babymother and still took my son because “I’m a credible threat” due to my criminal record. She has an inability to see the best interest of the fathers and diminishes peoples characters in the courtroom. If it was my choice she should be let go.

Absolute idiocracy.

I am completely shocked at this judges inability to review the case file prior to walking into the courtroom and stating she only read the most recent declarations leading to the hearing for temporary orders. She stated there was no evidence to go off of and only hearsay. She allowed the petitioner (mother) to speak, the respondent (father) to respond he pointed out that there is an open dv case between 2 of the residence in the mothers home his exhibit# but because he does not currently witness any incidents she did not take it into consideration as well as the declaration on behalf of the petitioner the respondents mother stated that her daughter attacked her because of a mental breakdown, not evidence enough to be concerned for children’s safety?(father was granted an emergency restraining order based off of this concern) which Chavez threw out, then Chavez allowed the mother to add anything which she barely spoke during both times she was offered and then Chavez began to make her ruling without giving the respondent any further chance to make his case, the mother came with nothing and the father had binders of notes and exhibits/evidence not hearsay to present. Chavez did not refer back to any exhibits the respondent (father) pointed out in his declaration as evidence. Chavez ordered a 50/50 joint custody and joint decision making temporary order when it is apparent in the declarations and exhibits that petitioner will not agree on anything and when she does she goes after the respondent with unverifiable accusations and defamation of character and attempts to take away or limit respondents time with the children. Chavez was clearly biased and her ethics were not seen in the court room because she had none, a disgrace to the bench and families in need of real serious and fair rulings for their children’s sake. The only thing she did right was appointing a GAL.

She was a horrible uneducated lady who didn't even take a look at my dcyf case and all the hoops I jumped through for them for a year. All she saw was my abusive exs parenting plan and granted him what he wanted. History of 10 years long of domestic violence and proof he was never the primary parent and he got what he wanted. She was able to use medications I was on legally to judge against me. Which is against the law . She didn't even listen to any recommendations from dcyf for my parenting plan She just automatically went with anything my ex wanted. She is so unfair and doesn't judge with all evidence put in front of her. She makes personal judgements based on what she thinks is right which is so far from what is. SHE WILL RUIN YOUR FAMILIES LIVES FOR THE HELL OF IT.
