Terry I. Adelman

I tried a patent case with Judge Adelman. He had little patent experience, but he studied the area deeply and handled multiple, difficult issues with wisdom and efficiency. One of the lawyers was very difficult at trial, and the judge remained patient and, for the most part, even tempered. I was annoyed that he allowed opposing counsel to bring up the same issues repeatedly, but he was just being respectful (perhaps overly respectful) to the lawyer. I would definitely be happy to try a case in his court again.

This judge was barely able to stay awake. The material of the case (involved technology)was way above his head. He seemed excited to understand how to open his e-mail. Needs to seriously consider retirement SOON!
