Very defense oriented. Will make most, if not all, calls in favor of defense. Former Bingham McCutchen defense attorney. If you have this Magistrate on a case, it will be the same as having an extra defense attorney. He will apply the rules in a biased manner. He has a defense prism in his role. I would not consent to him. He will not give you a fair shake and your client will be crippled by his rulings, cynicism, and defense bend.
