in my case he literally said he didn’t like the IL code applicable to my divorce and thought he would challenge the code by complicating my divorce. what was a simple, no-argument, no kids, property already split for years divorce—he didn’t like. He thought the husband didn’t understand what was happening…even tho the husband had a JD the wife paid for. He is pro-men to a fault, friends of “notorious” dads rights lawyer. Had to drop and refile to avoid him. My divorce was done in 5 minutes in front of the new judge. RIDICULOUS, SEXIST, BEWARE. And I have receipts.
