A very poor choice. Still see things through the eyes of a lawyer advocating for a client instead of an impartial judge. He has not learned that he is no longer an advocate.

Just read a comment from a fellow corporate defense lawyer. I could not have said it better. This guy defies the definition of impartiality. Shame on him.

A poor choice. As a civil defense lawyer if manny years, I had high hopes for him. Instead, he has demonstrated a total lack of understanding of how everyday litigation needs to be handled and how it affects people. He either doesn’t understand or care about the consequences of his [dilatory] rulings. He is corporate biased and as a trial lawyer of many years representing corporate America I find that reprehensible. He is no longer an advocate, he is supposed to be an independent jurist. I am a trump advisor but a big believer In balance and this guy is a mistake b

Remembers his friends in his rulings. No clue how to handle cases other than what he did as a lawyer. Biased.
