Judge Pollak is an exceptional magistrate. She is extremely bright (and a diligent and incisive legal researcher and analyst)and fair-minded. She also has great perseverance, a kind heart, and not a shred of arrogance. Judge Pollak is a person first, and judge second, which in turn makes here a great judge. I would strongly recommend her for an Article III judicial position. The federal judiciary would be greatly served with more judges like Cheryl L. Pollak.

Very pleasant and efficient magistrate. In context of mediation, had no problem telling plaintiff (correctly) that they were likely to lose a motion to dismiss and should take a settlement.

Mayebthe nicest judge you will encounter, Cordial and civil - perhaps to a fault. Only downside, she will allow you adversary many chances to correct himself/herself before finally lowering the boom. Overally - very, very good. Takes time to learn case, allows time for ample argument, and issues thoughful decisions - even if not the one you wanted.

Biased and seeks results in government's favor even with lack of evidence. Makes up evidence that does not exist. Just the type of judge that Judge Posner recently found of an unfavorable type.

The most pleasant federal judge I have appeared before in 20 years of litigation. She has none of the arrogance which most of her colleagues exhibit. She deserves to be an Article 3 Judge. Over the years I have had several cases before her.

She is a very smart judge, and should be on the district court. Needs to slap down bad lawyers more decisively.
