Very even keel, fair and congenial Judge. He ruled quickly and I believed fairly on the discovery issues which required the Magistrate's decision. He was extremely helpful during a settlement conference. Opposing counsel and I had the same pleasant experience has we agreed to try our case before him instead of Judge Scola.

Former big-firm lawyer with strong bib business orientation. Never had to earn money with real clients, so has no real-world experience to draw upon. Never represented actual people, only large businesses that the firm allowed him to handle cases for, under supervision of partner with client relationship.

Very smart and hard working. Good courtroom demeanor. Easily grasps complex issues. Has a bit of a big-firm/pro-Government mentality due to his previous litigation experience, but it's getting better over time. A fine judge.
