The judge openly attacked a retired magistrate for his political views. He served in the JAG while serving as an Article III judge and was openly active for Bush Republican organization. Big on railroading those accused of gang members. Refused to recuse himself in a gang case where he was a target of the gang and he relied on that fact in rulings in the case. He is excessive.

Judge Whitney is only interested in making a name for himself. Disregarded pleas from my attorney for probation because he could make a name for himself on a "high-profile" case. Had to serve a sentence because of his disregard for my constitutional rights.
100% biased to the prosecutors side. Sentences are usually whatever the AUSA asks for.

Judge Whitney seemed to allow Dave Brown to do anything he wanted.Dave Brown seemed too familiar with the Judge and often times misused his authority as a prosecutor and very rarely did Judge Whitney correct him. Judge Whitney is very biased and conspires with US government to railroad defendants. Making such rulings as a husband and wife have to live in different houses prior to the trial and denying a defendand bond before hearing by saying defendant is an economic threat to the community. WHAT?! GIVE ME BREAK. He should be investigated for impeachment!
Judge Frank D. Whitney is a completely biased former AUSA who is 100% for the Government. Moreover, in a recent case before him, he made myriad factual errors and is an utter embarrassment to the Judicial System as a whole
Intellectual lightweight and an embarrassment to the bench. More impressed with his ego than the law. The courtroom is his stage and not a place where justice is to be meted out. Neo-con activist judge through and through.

Judge Whitney was an absolute ruler with total disregard to my Constitutional Rights or Rule of Law.
He lacks both the very minimum standards of intelligence and impartiality that should be expected of federal judges. He is an extremely activist judge, who has locked average citizens from the courthouse. Awful.
