I had a settlement conference with Judge Chooljian. She was VERY good. She took almost 6 hours to get the case settled. Most magistrates won't commit more than 90 minutes to an MSC. She was very likable, fair, and easy to get along with. A breath of fresh air.

Good, young, magistrate judge. If anything, she is too evenhanded and is reluctant to really pull the trigger to stop chicanery. Overall, however, she is hardworking, fair and prepared. If every district court judge in the CACD was like her I would have no complaints, and I have many as it is.
