James C. Mahan

Seems to be great if you are a 'buddy.' Does not uphold law and US Constitution. Apparently doesn't review incontrovertible evidence or ruling would have been very different. Makes one question what is going on behind the scenes.

Chronic delays on the docket and strange comments from the bench. I haven’t had issues with Mahan in the past, but serious misgivings on the civil side lately.

Judge James C. Mahan, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your ruling on Michael Sandford. Knowing you are in the world gives me tremendous hope for people who suffer from autism. I send you all good thoughts always. Thank you for your superior wisdom.

One of the best judges in all of Vegas, hands down. Knows the case law like the back of his hand and follows the law to precision.

Nice man, but thinks and acts like a state court judge. Reluctant to grant dispositive motions.

The absolute worst judge I have ever watched. The law doesn't matter, the facts don't matter, but if the lawyer in front of him is on friendly terms, the law and the facts don't stand a chance. If Judge Mahan(d job) should be jailed for contempt of justice. If he did not have a lifetime appointment, he would never have a job based on performance. An absolute travesty to the American justice System. He has either lost his mind with old age or is just plain crooked. I believe the latter.

Judge Mahan has no respect for the US Constitution or Freedom of Speech. he let's favored lawyers stomp on it like it is a worn out newspaper, using his courtroom as a waiting room to abridge the rights of citizens guaranteed by the US Constitution.

Judge Mahan is a great judge and is incredibly fair and even handed. He treats lawyers with respect.

I've never met a judge so concerned with doing the right thing...the best judge in Vegas hands down.
