Lord Sir Honorable Jimm Larry Hendren's legacy will be trying to protect good ole American pornography online. I will make sure of this long after the man dies. Lord Sir Honorable Jimm Larry Hendren's rulings therein are wrong on their face and it is obvious he is too old to understand wire communications disguised as the [sic] "internet".

I participated in a 2-week civil jury trial in front of Judge Hendren. I was admitted Pro Hac Vice - and to tell you the truth, he was the best federal Judge I have ever appeared in front of. Easy going, flexible and just plain courteous. It was a, believe it or not, fun experience.

One day historians will declare the Iraq War and the appointment of Jimm Larry to be two of W.'s worst decisions. This guy is as lazy as he is unenlightened.

Jim Squared (his nickname) is a true testament to the theory that if you stick around long enough, you will eventually get promoted. Translation: Republican stalwart who, but for his devotion to the party, would be playing his banjo in some Tex-Mex bar than playing federal judge. (Yes, he really does play a banjo. Settle a case with him, and he will invite you back into his chambers and play a few tunes.) Don't bother to file dispositive motions -- he will merely deny them and threaten you with a jury trial in order to get a settlement. If you don't settle, he will punish you with bad evidentiary rulings to punish you for making him work on something other than his banjo ballads.
