This judge is very political-agenda-oriented, and will twist the law and facts to find in favor of and protect big business and corporations. He really doesn't seem to care what the law is when it comes to protecting the business entity. Otherwise, he is polite and courteous in doing so.

Some of the numbering was hard to set. The bottom line is that Judge Starrett is unbelievably conscientious toward his work, as well as constitutional rights. He is fair, polite, and very forgiving. I have never seen him be rude, even when seven defense lawyers were really pushing him hard. I could not have formed a better opinion of a judge. I hope that it never changes.

Just an absolute pleasure to practice before. I'm always thrilled when Judge Starrett is assigned my cases.

Judge Starrett is an exceptionally fair man with a near-perfect judicial temperament. He is extremely courteous and respectful toward lawyers, parties, jurors, and court staff. He lives by his oath of impartiality, and always works to do what he feels is right in the cases he handles. Although he gets extremely involved in settlement negotiations, he never works to undermine the side with the weaker case, and doesn't twist anyone's arm to settle cases.
