Mark A. Goldsmith

Another horrid appointment to the bench. This Judge does not even know how to provide the correct case law. He either is to lazy and hands it off to his clerk, or he is too inept to do it correctly. His Opinions and Orders look like they were written by a 4th grader.

This Judge is not only inept, he contradicts his own orders. He has callous disregard for precedent, out of his own district, and SCOTUS. He should have stayed a State Court Judge as we all know how well they are. His appointment is a joke and he would have been a lot better off as a clerk.

Judge Goldsmith is exceptional. He does not favor one side over another. He is both down to earth and intelligent. During oral argument, he asks specific questions and he expects lawyers to answer his questions. While he may give you some leeway, he will then redirect you to the question he has asked, and he will expect an answer.
