Recent decision (14-1270) by 1st Circuit overturned Judge Ponsor class action cert for many being held for deportation. "we reject the 6 month presumption underlying the class certification and judgment, the class action is REMANDED for reconsideration of the certification order in a manner consistent with this decision" Judge wanted all held for 6 months to be released. Sorry lefty judge. Each requires a separate case by case Individualized review.

Judge Ponsor is extremely fair and even-handed. It is a pleasure to litigate before him. He is very well respected in the legal community in Massachusetts.

Significant errors in commentary. Failure to grasp forensic evidence. Written opinions based on non-existent facts. Makes up facts as he goes along. Failed to follow ordinary Circuit rules of jurisprudence. Won't admit when wrong. Improperly involved self on appeal.

Nice guy, but if you make him mad, watch out!
