Michael R. Barrett

This is the most easy-going federal judge you will ever encounter. He is smart and fair, casual but respectful. Sometimes keeps you waiting, but not because he is lazy. He says every lawyer enters his courtroom with a full glass of credibility. If you choose to spill it, a little at a time or all at once, that is your choice and you will suffer accordingly.

I have not appeared before this judge in any criminal matter, but I was in the jury pool, and what I observed was that I was impressed with the way that he handled the jury.
