Judge Friedman managed well a complex civil litigation in which P's counsel was erratic. He accommodated many schedule changes, mainly due to P's counsel, kept counsel in line and ultimately issued a well-reasoned opinion which was fully affirmed on appeal. He was clear and decisive in the courtroom and seemed to enjoy his job.
