Civil Litigation - Private: The critical comments about him in this listing are a little baffling…

The critical comments about him in this listing are a little baffling to me. I've been before lots of federal judges, and I would put Pro at the top of the game. I find it unfortunate that he's essentially retired now. He ruled against me a few times, and for me a few. The thing about him is that any time he ruled against me, I never saw the order as lazy, missing the point, or even poorly reasoned. Every rule against me left me saying "yeah, he's got a good point." His legacy lives on pretty nicely here in that Judge Navarro was one of his clerks, and she seems to carry on his pretty great tradition. So, I for one, miss the guy being on the bench. I hope that he gets bored with retirement and takes on some cases while on senior status.

Very disappointing. He'll ignore the law to accomplish what he feels is just. He wastes people's time by being unprepared. He has a very judicial voice, however.
