Sarcastic, rude and biased. He will sentence you for a drug charge if he believes you are using, yet that is not why defendant is in court. That must have a lot to do with his son using drugs. Wish he'd retire like he said he would.

numerous of his sentencings have been overturned due to wrong sentences and law used. Glad he is retiring the sooner the better because he implies rules on people that are not in the law and Judges are not supposed to do that they are supposed to rule the laws.

I wished he could judge based on a persons history and not judge on his own personal family issues that he has with his son that has or had a drug problem.

Rob Junell hasn't always ruled as others have thought correct, but he, as he did when he was state senator, always ruled with the benefit of the whole of his constituancy in mind. He is thought to be a rogue, but he has been straight forward, and unafraid of ruling based on truth, and facts.

Judge Robert A. Junell may not be as corrupt as Blagojevich but he certainly comes close. He has ignored exculpatory evidence and railroaded innocent people. He shouldn't just be disbarred...he should join the innocent people he's sentenced in prison.

Having zero experience in criminal law of any sort before joining the bench, Judge Junell seems to relish the harshest punishment possible, defying recommendations of probation officers. For example, a defendant who has tested clean in random drug tests for 5 years while earning a living running a construction business was sent back to prision due to agreed upon morning-after drug tests Judge Junell considered late in defiance of probation officer's agreement.

Biased against drug offenders and unwilling to depart for reasonable exceptions. Compared to other federal judges with similar cases is extremely harsh and unwilling to "bend."

The previous posting (2497) adds little to this website. We'd like to see more detailed analysis and anecdotal information. Therobingroom.com
