As long as your client is white, this judge will be evenhanded and nice. However if your client is of any other race, he will try to bury them in prison or have your case dismissed.

I am an admirer of Judge Fitzwater. In my experience, he is smart, even-handed, intellectually honest and not at all result-oriented. His work ethic is exceptional. They should video Judge Fitzwater in action on the bench and allow newly-confirmed judges to see how a federal judge should run his court.
