Quite simply, he is not a decent human being. There is a nasty streak in him that comes out if he hears something he doesn't like, even though it's simply argument on the law. He gets offended if you don't agree with him and you can tell he is enchanted by the sound of his own voice. Suffice to say, he has the temperament of a child. Why the hell is this guy on the bench?

One wonders why a lawyer who has done very well (according to his resume) would want to become a judge at such a young age after his success as a managing attorney at a large firm. The answer is evident once you've been unfortunate enough to be assigned to him. He is a person who needs to dominate and control and take out his overall misery on the people he can, i.e., the litigants before him. His sadistic behavior cannot be allowed to be augmented by the ascendancy to that of a judge.

I've been practicing for over 35 years and have yet to come before a Judge who is as big a prick as he. Arrogant, angry, no patience, poor knowledge of the law and behaves like he's better than the litigants who come before him. He left a firm where we presume he was a partner to take a pay cut so he could then take out his bad childhood on the rest of us. The difference is that he utilizes his position to do wrong. When will Judges start being audited, i.e., have their courtrooms monitored? It can't come soon enough for this pariah.

Terrible. A former BigLaw lawyer who is like a big firm partner decide your case. Judges assign to this magistrate whether the parties want him or not, and if they want to get rid of the case. Slow decisions that are like a brief by the big law firms or parroting their arguments. Political. Avoid him except if you are from a big law firm in which case it is your lucky day to have thus judge. There's no chance he'll rule against you if you are a big firm. I agree with the other comment that he makes up on his mind based on what the more important party/lawyers want and makes sure that none of your claims or points is sustained. Not smart.

PreJudges cases. He already decides cases on reading one side of the papers and is prejudgemental, Therefore he makes a ruling right away in his head which side he is going to rule on. This makes him biased as he does not weigh arguments since he already made his mind up. Also oversimplifies complex issues and can miss the important details. Not very balanced, detailed or thorough like some others.
