Insurance hack who changed his name legally from terry to Terrance represented by judge dowdell's law firm. As pompous as he is he is even lazier. Not sure if it's his laziness or lack of intelligence that is the main problem. Only retirement can save us. Deserves to make top ten worst judges list! A little insight don't interrupt if the judge is trying to read you can tell bc his lips are moving. Only in ok!

Judge Terrence C. Kern's decision to declare Oklahoma's ban on gay marriage unconstitutional shows him to be a person who believes in the rights of all Oklahomans and a man of integrity, a man who is strong enough not to cower in the face of overwhelming opposition from religious extremists, a man that I applaud and appreciate. A job well done, sir!

Good, smart and caring. He is his own judge and fair to all parties and will hold the government's feet to the fire. Woe unto you if you are not prepared in his court.

Most even-handed of all of the judges at the federal courthouse. Over the last few years he has been slow on rulings, but he always delivers smart and solid rulings. One of the few in the Northern District of Oklahoma that actually looks to see if there are any facts in dispute instead of weighing the facts in favor of corporate defendant on summary judgment. Tough and expects a lot of his lawyers, but respectful to lawyers and the fact that they are people.
