In a jury trial, this Judge failed to understand and implement the rules of evidence. Also, failed to appreciate the effect of his rulings on the trial. Biased toward corporations and the traditional Republican line.

Judge Rose is a disaster on large, complex civil cases. His rulings are untimely and inconsistent and usually wrong. His decisions seem largely to be made by a career lawclerk who does not appear to have any practical litigation experience. Stay out of his courtroom if possible.

Needs to be removed. Stated "there is no fundamental liberty interest for Americans meeting foreigners for relationships". Nobody like that should occupy the bench. The USA went to war over Nazi judges who thought this way.

Gave him a clear cut issue in our favor, he passed it off to the magistrate for some cover. Got a B.S. opinion with no real analysis and he quickly adopted it. Seems to want to keep his fingerprints off the tough issues, but still give the government breaks whenever he can.

Judge Rose was very patient with a very difficult client. Was flexible and helpful in attmepting to resolve some issues on teh clients behalf without "judging" the defendant becasue of the problems in the case. A generally newer Federal Judge, comming from being a Judge in Common Pleas. Seems to appreciate the problems of a practcing attorney.
