One of the best judges on the bench. No case is too large, too small, too complex, or too simple for him. He gives each and every one the attention it deserves. A model of fairness!
Interesting judge. Takes responsibility for his decisions--he writes in the first person! Willing to rethink his initial reactions, even to the point of sua sponte modifying his written opinions. Seemed to me to be fair minded and hard working on the couple of cases in which I had him as a visiting judge.
Outstanding. On the subjects of industriousness and flexibility, he will start hearings at 5:00 p.m. to accommodate emergent situations, and work into the night - - and this is a senior status judge. For a complex case, you can't get a better judge anywhere.
