1. Data controller

WeJudge is the data controller for personal data collected through wejudge.org. For any privacy-related queries, please contact us at Wejudgeoficial@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect data you provide directly when registering (email address, name) and data generated through use of the service (published reviews, ratings). We may also automatically collect browsing and technical device data for statistical and security purposes.

3. Purpose of processing

Your data is used to: (a) manage your user account and access to the service; (b) publish and moderate submitted reviews; (c) send communications about the status of your reviews; (d) improve the Platform through statistical analysis; and (e) comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

Processing of your data is based on performance of the service contract accepted upon registration (Article 6.1.b GDPR), compliance with legal obligations (Article 6.1.c GDPR), and, for optional communications, your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR).

5. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active and for the period necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations. If you request account deletion, your data will be deleted or anonymised within 30 days, unless the law requires its retention.

6. Recipients

We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. We may share data with technical service providers (hosting, authentication, email delivery) who act as data processors under the guarantees required by the GDPR.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of your data, as well as to data portability, by writing to us at Wejudgeoficial@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe processing of your data infringes applicable law.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place as required by the GDPR (such as standard contractual clauses or European Commission adequacy decisions).

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. However, no Internet data transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via a notice on the Platform or by email. We recommend you review this page regularly.
